Unearthing Value. Transforming Lives.

Golddigger Trust are a charity working with young people around issues of self esteem and sexual exploitation

Golddigger Trust are at the forefront of self-esteem work in Sheffield and across the UK, working with thousands of young people through their innovative projects in South Yorkshire, and their trained delivery partners across the British Isles.

Our team of youth work specialists has developed innovative and creative projects to work with young people, showing them their true value and worth as a unique individual. Since the Trust was conceived in 2005, Golddigger Trust has helped change the futures of thousands of young people, through innovative intervention projects, music in education teams and long term support. In 2011, we developed a specialist project working with young people who are being, or are at risk of being, sexually exploited within the Sheffield area. We are now supporting many young people who have been exploited (or are at risk of being), and we are working across the UK to raise awareness and train others to combat this horrendous crime and support those working with people who are affected.

Golddigger Trust believes in the power of self esteem intervention courses to help empower young people to combat a variety of issues facing them, including Child Sexual Exploitation. The 'I'm The Girl I Want To Be' course for girls has been successfully running for over 7 years and the 'Made Of More' course for boys was commissioned in 2012, beginning delivery in early 2013.  We deliver these courses in schools and youth groups around the Sheffield region and also offer the course as a weekend residential.

Since 2013, we now deliver franchised training of our intervention courses to organisations outside of South Yorkshire, and our team members are regularly invited to train and speak at a variety of national conferences, events and on national media.

The future is looking very exciting for Golddigger Trust. Plans are afoot to expand still further with the creation of a girls course for the 8-11 year age group, young people are currently creating a published book full of their reflections, learnings and art, and there are many other projects up our sleeves. Golddigger Trust is a charity based on a Christian Ethos, and this is reflected in our cornerstones and values.
