News and Upcoming Events...

We're looking forward to all that 2017 has to offer and excited to let you know about some great events coming up for both young people and supporters...

We had such a great evening last October with our very first Quiz and Pizza night that we've brought it back! We've also brought it a little earlier in the year so that we'll be able to stand outside on a warm summer evening drooling over the wood fired pizzas as they cook (not literally). Please get your teams together and order your tickets for Friday June 16th at The Kings Centre, Union Rd in Nether Edge. Teams are up to 8 people but please order alone if you don't have a team and we will match you to some friendly people. Tickets include your pizza and soft drinls and you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. There'll also be a great raffle. Tickets cost £15 and are avaliable right here.

Our giant interactive boardgame is back for 2017 and thanks to South Yorkshire Police Commissioner Community Grant Scheme we have 10 days funded that South Yorkshire schools can apply to have for FREE. These will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, available between January and March 2017 only and schools just need to provide a big space (like a school hall or drama studio) and 4-5 groups of up to 30 students.

Small groups will follow a ‘storyline’, making difficult decisions for their character and their relationships. Each storyline has a specific focus around child sexual exploitation and/or abusive relationships, exploring issues around online safety, meeting strangers, domestic abuse, sexting, drug abuse, self-harm and personal safety. The students will travel around the different 'houses', 'parks' into 'town' and to various places during their journey; much like being part of their very own soap opera whilst learning about impact and the consequences difficult decisions can bring.

Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in booking a day in for a secondary school.

Please note that all our free days have been allocated but this resource is still available for you to book. Please enquire for availability and prices.

Girls Drop In Sessions small

Every Tuesday we'll be stocking up the snacks and opening the doors to girls who want to pop in for a chat, craft activities, hot chocolates and a chance to meet some friendly faces. If you're considering signing up for a course and want a chance to suss out the team first this is a great way to do it. Also if you've already been on a course and are sad that its over this is a great way for us to keep in touch and pretend it never ended!

Girls Day

Last October saw our first whole day event for girls. We had such an amazing day full of inspirational teaching, creative lettering workshops, festival make up, confidence building, colour analysis, macrame and mini terratrium planting, skin care, yoga, pilates and zumba... We loved it... so we're planning even more for this year! Keep October 7th 2017 in your diaries and booking will open soon! Please visit our facebook page to view the video from the 2016 day and hear how much everyone enjoyed it.
