Golddigger Trust is an award winning charity, working with young people in the Sheffield area, and resourcing youth workers across the UK, around the issue of self-esteem and the resulting behaviours and vulnerabilities that can effect young people. Motivated by the Christian faith, Golddigger Trust works to 'unearth the value' in young people, equipping and supporting young people to make positive choices for themselves. 

 

We are RECRUTING! 

We are currently recruiting for TWO vacancies:

 

Girls Project Worker 

Are you passionate about unearthing value and seeing young women encouraged and equipped to make good choices for themselves? Are you experienced in working with vulnerable young people, excellent at building relationships and prepared to go the extra mile for them? Do you thrive in a busy environment where you’re committed to excellent face to face youth work and, exemplary safeguarding and administration? If this sounds like you, maybe you could be the newest addition to our Girls Work Team?! 

Hours: Initially 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE), with an expectation to increase to 0.6 FTE subject to further funding. Plus additional, optional sessional hours.

Salary: £19,120.50 pro rata, plus pension contributions.

Length of post: Initial 12-month contract, with expectation of extension, subject to funding.

Fundraising and Finance Officer (Maternity Cover- February 2018- January 2019)  

Are you passionate about seeing young people encouraged and equipped to make good choices for themselves and playing your part in transforming the lives of thousands of young people? Are you enthusiastic, personable and excellent at communicating your cause, whether to individuals or hundreds of people? Can you think big picture whilst having an eye for detail, and love making things happen? Do you have fundraising experience and are looking to learn new skills in an exciting, growing charity?  If this sounds like you, read on…

Hours: 18.75 hours (0.5 FTE) per week. This post includes occasional evening and weekend work (time given in lieu).

Salary: £17,550- £20,000, dependent on experience, plus statutory pension contributions.

Length of post: Maternity cover from 5th February 2018 until mid-January 2019 (potential for extension).
