Golddigger Trust wouldn’t exist without our fantastic board of trustees, who each volunteer their time to ‘dot the i’s’, ‘cross the t’s’ and make sure that Golddigger Trust is governed well.

Matt Jones - Chair of Trustees

Trustee Matt

Matt joined the Trustee board in July 2014 and has been Chair of Trustees since September 2015. A longtime supporter of Golddigger Trust, Matt has chosen to get further involved in the work of the Trust on a governance level, bringing his insight and project management skills to support and further our work now and in the future. Matt works as an IT delivery manager for a large financial company, managing multi-million pound projects. Matt is married to Jude (who also serves the Trust using her journalist training as the official minute taker during Trustee meetings!) and together they have 2 children.

Jenny Smith- Secretary

Trustee Jenny

Jenny joined the Golddigger Trustee Board in July 2014, bringing her professional and personal experience to serve the Trust enthusiastically. Jenny is a qualified Social Worker, working as a 'Social Work Practice Consultant' within Child Protection social work for Nottingham County Council. Prior to becoming a Social Worker, Jenny worked work the NSPCC in corporate fundraising and brings her expert knowledge to support our work here at Golddigger Trust. As a Sheffielder through and through, Jenny is actively involved in community life, both as a brownie leader in Ecclesall, and as an active member of St Thomas' Church, Crookes.

Geoff Atkinson- Treasurer

Trustee Geoff

Geoff joined the Golddigger Trust Board in January 2017.

Bio coming soon.

Debi Jones- Trustee

Debi joined the Trustee Board in November 2017, having heard about the Trust when she attended one of our fundraising quiz nights! She ran her own curtain making business for 30 years, but 8 years ago moved into the providing of payroll and budget management for families employing carers. 3 years ago she set up Parkside Payroll with her son to continue this work. She hopes to bring her years of experience both as a business woman and 24 years involvement with the local primary school as both governor and clerk to her role at Golddigger Trust. Debi has 2 children, both now adult, so now has much more time for her other commitments!
